Bad Wolf Bay

Doctor Who is the best Sci-Fi series I’ve ever seen (Not that I’ve watched many Sci-Fi series... well X-Files, which is also awesome.) I just LOVE it! It’s brilliant :D But there’s something I want to make clear of, and that is the second series the ‘Doomsday’ episode.

Because I am from Norway, and they mention Norway in that episode. Well more than mention it, they where there I guess. Bad Wolf Bay is a beach outside Bergen (Where I live :D) in a parallel world. And Rose Tyler says the name in Norwegian, ‘Dårlig ulv stranden’.

When I watched the episode, I only understood the two last words. I had to watch it again and again to realize what she was saying :P The way she says it sounds like old Norweigan ‘dar ligg’, which would mean ‘there lies’. And then I understood that it was ‘dårlig’ which means bad, but here lays the mistake, the error. Because it doesn’t mean bad as in the way they wanted, as a bad wolf.

‘Dårlig’ means if you’re bad at something like… painting or… football, and not that you’re a bad person, or in this case…a wolf :D So the correct line would be: Slemme ulv stranden. Because when you’re a bad person you’re ‘slem’. But then again, if they had used the correct word, then the Doctor wouldn’t be able to respond with a ‘ Dalek?!’ when Rose says the name :)

Well anyway, just needed to get it off my chest :P
I loved this episode! First of all because they used Norway instead of Sweden, and Bergen instead of Oslo which is the capitol city in Norway… Good Times :D

Not our ginger snap town!

Last night someone broke in to our yearly ginger snap town and smashed about 1000 ginger snap houses! People like that just makes me angry, and it's so pathetic too! Why do something like this. And think of all those children who made the houses! I really do hope they regret what they've done and come out and say they're sorry. If they do get caught, they wont get in trouble which sort of sucks... It was due to open on Friday (Bergen, Norway), but now, we'll just have to wait a little longer I guess. People have to make a new ginger snap town... I want to film it when it's ready, and maybe put it on my youtube channel... yeah.. that channel really needs a video now :P Anyway, stupid-ginger-snap-smashers, go name yourselves! >:C

Movies I've just seen...

I went to the cinema today and saw 2012. I liked it, I give it 4,5 of 6. It was a bit overdone, but then again, it was the end of the world :P There was also drama of course, and a bit predicted, but I did had a big clump in the back of my throat through half of the movie... and there was some times that I almost shed a tear... That wasn't a good line, so I am just going to move on... It was also some humor in it, which I liked :) And many scenes were awesome! And some parts of with made me think of Doctor Who... but I pretty much always think about it because I am... weird. Or just a fan :P Well anyway, it lasted about 2 hours 30 minutes but the time is worth it :)

On Monday 16.11 I also was at the cinema and watched 'Law Abiding Citizen'. If you haven't seen it, and it's still on the cinema near you (lame) then go and see it! :D I thought it was awesome! I really liked it and Gerard Butler is really good in this one... well he was also good in 'Gamer', '300', and so on. Well, I give it 5 of 6 :D The killing scenes was just awesome and brilliant! :D So go watch it! :D

The Waiting...

I was so happy when I heard that the new episode of Doctor Who (The waters of Mars)was coming up 15th November. I didn't got to see it that day though (I don't have BBC >:C), so I saw it the day after. And the episode was just BRILLIANT! The Doctor's comments was on top and everything was great (Even though I had to restart my laptop because everything just froze...) And then I was thinking, it's been six months since Planet of the dead was released, SIX MONTHS! So it was six months since my birthday too :p Well anyway, and now we have to wait another month... like we haven't waited enough.. But the again Doctor Who is worth the waiting, and especially when that means that David Tennant will be the Doctor a little longer :D :P

I know it's pathetic, but I just KNOW I am gonna cry on the last episode!

Fantasy and Christmas Spirit

I was with some friends of mine tonight, and we played Fantasy (the board game), where you can mime and draw for the ones on you team. And have to say the game is brilliant, even if there are some of the words that is impossible to either mime or draw! But that's what makes it funnier :p And it's so much fun when you try to mime the easiest word in the whole universe, but your team mates thinks is something really difficult and is so far off. And you just get more and more frustrating and your hands waves all over the place! There is always fun with people getting angry and being such bad losers :D

While we played we also ate some satsumas... really good ones! I ate about four of them... And that brings me to something else, Satsuma = Christmas. I feel like Christmas comes earlier and earlier every year. I mean, already in September the christmas-cookie-man (or as we call them: Kakemenn) they're in the store! And then the Christmas soda, and chocolate and...well everything I guess. It's just so wrong! Because the Christmas spirit comes to early and when The Night come it's gone... There's just no Christmas Spirit left... I think it's a bit sad... Of course, it doesn't happen to everyone, but there has been a long time ago I really had the Christmas Spirit on top on the day, which is the 24th of December for me.
